Job Summary

Functioning as a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, this role will be focused on providing revenue and healthcare cost analytics and forecasting capabilities for the company’s health plans. The role will provide monthly membership, healthcare revenue and cost variance analyses and insights into underlying trends in order to identify both opportunities and challenges for management to consider. The individual will also be responsible for producing budget and forecasting estimates for these business elements. Further, the role will provide support for the company’s Medicare Advantage bid activities and analysis of proposed provider contracting rates and terms. The position will report to the Vice President of FP&A and is expected to grow into a managerial role as the company grows.

Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Administer, interpret and maintain current working knowledge of Clever Care Health Plan’s systems, procedures, forms, reports and manuals.
  • Keep status of department current in accordance with service standards, systems, procedures, forms and manuals through staff meetings and verbal or written communications.
  • Perform, evaluate and assist in defining and improving the quality, quantity and timeliness standards to achieve individual and department performance goals as defined within the department guidelines.
  • Meet standards as defined within standard operating procedures for one or more of the following departments: Finance, accounting, cost accounting, statutory reporting.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Account or related fields
  • 4-6 years processive experience in analyzing medical revenue and healthcare cost data
  • Experience working with a Medicare Advantage or government-focused health plan

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required Job Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Word and PowerPoint programs

Physical & Working Environment

Typical Physical Demands.
Position requires a great amount of sitting and standing. Some lifting, stooping, bending, or reaching is required. May require lifting up to 15‐30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer, calculator and telephone. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Requires the ability to type and file.

Typical Working Conditions.
Work is performed in an office environment and/or remotely. The job involves frequent contact with staff and public. Work may be stressful at times. May occasionally work some irregular hours.
