We are deeply saddened by the rise in hate crimes committed against the Asian and Pacific Islander communities across the nation. Much of these reported attacks have been directed at the elderly, who are already burdened by their vulnerability to the current pandemic.
As a health plan dedicated to the health and well-being of seniors in the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, we stand in solidarity with our members, providers, partners, and community leaders to stop hate and foster unity.
To the Asian American Pacific Islander community, we stand resilient more than ever.
We hear you, stand by you, and care for you.
Clever Care Health Plan will continue to provide culturally sensitive support to the members of our community. We must work to bring people together and protect those who are vulnerable. We will continue to build a society of understanding, inclusive diversity, and put an end to the violence and hate that is so visible today. Let’s be kind and supportive of each other.
If you or someone you know have been a victim of a hate crime, Clever Care can provide assistance and direction to resources in the language you need.
