2024 Clever Care Physicians Award Dinner 

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California, July 22, 2024 (clevercarehealthplan.com)—On July 19, 2024, Clever Care Health Plan Inc. (“Clever Care”) honored the outstanding contribution on quality, growth, and dedication of its Vietnamese physician community with an award ceremony and dinner party at Paracel Restaurant in Westminster.  The event kicked off with Jayden Vu, Clever Care’s Director of Network Management, serving as the MC. Key updates were shared by executive leaders, including Chief Executive Officer Karen Walker Johnson, President Richard Greene, Chief Operating Officer Erin Ramsey, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Khaliq Siddiq, and Chief Growth Officer Martina Lee Strickland. A special announcement video from Clever Care Co-Founder & Advisor Hiep Pham was also featured. The celebration was attended by local Vietnamese press, media, and healthcare providers. 

The award dinner highlighted the remarkable contributions of Clever Care’s Vietnamese provider network of physicians and provided a growth overview and strategic roadmap for the upcoming 2025 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).  

Clever Care was pleased to announce awards for the top 3 STARS performers, along with awards for top provider, rising star, and highest patient retention. “Each award speaks to the dedication of our provider network to meet health equity challenges and drive more engaging, informed, person-centered care,” said Karen Walker Johnson, CEO of Clever Care.

Since its inception, Clever Care has invested heavily in expanding community resources and support for the Vietnamese community, including a dedicated in-language community center in Westminster designed to provide members and prospects easy access should they need helps on their Medicare plans.  The Westminster community center features free wellness seminars and cultural events. Clever Care has also partnered with community leaders to participate in cultural heritage events and much-needed vaccine and immunization clinics.
