Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority

Functions and Job Responsibilities

Business-facing role, with the following responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Manager and business stakeholders to understand needs and prioritize requests, and issues for backlog grooming with the engineering team
  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
  • User support tickets
  • Identify and gather requirements from users and stakeholders
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
  • Monitor user adoption
  • User training and creating training materials
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience

  • Salesforce product knowledge and at least 12 – 18 months of hands-on administration experience with Salesforce product
  • Trailhead Badges/Super Badges
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports

Preferred:

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, or professional qualification

  • A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
  • A desire to implement best practice solutions
  • Available and responsive to questions
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Gathering requirements and proposing technical solutions
  • Training users and creating training materials
  • Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)

Physical & Working Environment

Typical Physical Demands.
Position requires a great amount of sitting and standing. Some lifting, stooping, bending, or reaching is required. May require lifting up to 15‐30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer, calculator and telephone. Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Requires the ability to type and file.

Typical Working Conditions.
Work is performed in an office environment and/or remotely. The job involves frequent contact with staff and public. Work may be stressful at times. May occasionally work some irregular hours.
